Fund Raising for Alex Connerty

I like these cakes

These are nice cakes

Alex Connerty, a young child, was born in Maghull,  near Liverpool. He is what is called a primordial dwarf. This means he will remain a small human being all his life but he will differ from other dwarfs in that the parts of his body will remain in the correct proportion to each other. He is the only person of his kind in Great Britain.  The Liverpool Echo has sponsored a fund raising initiative for Alex called  Walking with Giants. Its purpose is to raise money to take Alex to the USA to see the world's leading dwarf expert.

St Barnabas parishioners felt they wished to contribute to this fund raising initiative for  Alex and organised a special cake sale which raised a substantial sum for the fund raising appeal. Here are a few photos of the event:
