St Barnabas Band in full Beatle song

The Beatles weekend proved to be very successful with large numbers attending over the whole weekend. ( For the weekend's programme, click here) The attendance at both the 3pm Sunday Beatles themed " All you need is Love" Service and  the Beatles Quiz and Sing along on Saturday night  was particularly pleasing. 

St Barnabas Parishioners would particularly like to thank:

• The Liverpool Echo newspaper for providing copies of its rare archive Beatles photographs to display at the exhibition.

• The Liverpool Record Office for providing many of the old photos of the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool.

During the weekend, a Mr and Mrs Burgess took the opportunity of revisiting St Barnabas Church where they were married in 1947:
