Good Friday Walk of Witness 2008 starting from Dovedale Baptist Church Mossley Hill
Easter is the most important period in the Christian year. For without the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus, there would be no Faith. So it is both a time of penitence, and a time of joy in the risen Christ. Below are a selection of photos taken during Holy Week at St Barnabas.
1. Holy Week Prayer Labyrinth

The labyrinth, or interactive spiritual walk, was set up at St Barnabas to help local people stop and reflect on the life of Jesus Christ and to be challenged about the relationship between his life and ours. It took people on a journey through the church using music, symbols, words and scripture. Here are a selection of images from the labyrinth:

2. Stations of the Cross
The service of Stations of the Cross on Good Friday is a relatively new innovation at St Barnabas.
3. Good Friday Walk of Witness
This is held each year under the auspices of the Churches Together In Mossley Hill. This year the walk was from Dovedale Baptist Church in Mossley Hill to Wavertree Christian Fellowship Church in Earlesfield Rd, Wavertree.
