Mykelbust family from Norway

Myklebust family at St Barnabas Penny Lane

St Barnabas parish church has been privileged to have the Myklebust family from Norway as members of the congregation. Andreas is a medical doctor who has come to Liverpool to study tropical medicine at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Following the completion of his studies, the family will move to Ethiopia where Andreas will work as a medical missionary. We wish the family well and will continue to pray for the success of their mission.

Apart from medical skills, the family have superb singing voices. At one service, they invited their friends , the Hellands also from Norway, to accompany them as a quartet singing a range of English and Norwegian hymns.

In Andreas's own words:

"St. Barnabas church has rapidly become one of the main benefits of our 3 months stay in Liverpool. The friendly atmosphere, the very good services, including work for children, as well as the evangelical message in the services have been very enjoyable to us. We will remember you all with happiness
